This will definitely bring more skill to the game, and make alot of people change their builds in new and more interesting ways, but this was obviously a double-edged sword, designed to nerf farmers yet again.

Why don't they just get to fixing the source of the problem, instead of patching over the various ways people are trying to overcome the flaws.

I disagree. This is horrible. Many fights were difficult even if a nuker dealt maximum damage and knockdown with their Shower(s). I wonder how many fights and end-game zones will now move beyond the accessibility of casual players.

LOL, but it looked hillarious, a group of minos attacking, taking damage, running away, coming back, taking damage again, running away again... I'm gonna do that again just for that effect

On the negative side, yes, I died but then, I didn't do it to stay alife anyway.

Anyone remember that petition thread for nerfing the reason to farm, not the build?

Anyways. I do like the idea of bringing more skill to the game. But for some reason, I feel this will cause more of an outside problem. There might be a possibility that the selling of gold for real money might seem more of an option now. But who knows?

Uw is still farmable,..but its damn harder. I think, as it happened before, people will eventually find new way to farm, and bring players to another level of dificulty.

this is was done to kill farming. now you have to chase them and solo farming won't work unless they constantly attack you.

Well, if your monk gets mobbed, Symbol of Wrath now becomes a deterrent to shake them off for 5 seconds. Balthazaar's Aura gets kicked in the 'nads yet again. A 25 energy bug repellent. Hmmm... They might as well make it an elite with a 5-second cast time and 60-second recharge, or just remove it from the game completely.

Smiting Monks who can't smite... whodathunkit?

then get knocked down. it strikes every 2.5 seconds. you are knocked down for 2 seconds. soon as you stand you are hit by another KD.

say good by to your UW trappers. soon as one 1 trap triggers they will run away from it.

its cost should be reduced some with the high casting and reduced effectiveness in pve. just not worth the cost now.

Spitefull spirit seems to be unaffected by this.

Anyone tried spiteful spirit UW duo yet? I think this might become just about the only effective way to farm ectos now... Expect to see prices increase on ectos

EDIT: looks like twicky answered my question about SS still working. Still wondering specifically about UW though...

hate to admit it. if pve dropped completely the game could be still be carried by pvp. they just did it to show they haven't forgotton about pve.

spitefull spirit is unaffected by the update. for some reason they still just stand there and swing away. wouldn't expect that to last too long though.

Spiteful is a hex.

Only PvP will alienate a lot of players.
